Our Process

Because every one of us is different, we do not have one-size-fits all diet or training programs.  We strive to create an effective, sustainable solution for every one of our customers. When a customer is truly ready to feel better, look better or achieve whatever their health related goal is, here is the general process we use:

1)  Getting Started

Your personal road map is designed by starting with a FREE initial consultation. During this consultation (in person or over the phone), we gather initial information about your wellness goals, lifestyle, any negative health signs and symptoms you may be experiencing. After hearing more about you we can help you choose the best membership option and provide pricing information.  You can also email us with information about yourself, your health concerns/goals and we will get back to you quickly with a recommended approach.

2)  Initial Consult

During the initial consult we will take time with you to understand your goals, challenges, lifestyle and anything else that will help us develop a plan that will be successful and sustainable.  We identify the root cause/core imbalances, recommend appropriate testing when it makes sense and assess your situation in detail:

  • Lifestyle - A variety of questions about your sleep, stress level, diet, exercise, daily movement patterns and routine will be asked.
  • Signs and Symptoms - We assess all areas of the body including digestive, immune, musculoskeletal, nervous, reproductive, respiratory, urinary, lymph, endocrine, circulatory, etc.
  • Goals - Goals will likely fall into one of three categories:
-Preventative Healthcare (examples include: disease prevention, cooking, meal preparation, raising healthy kids, correcting muscle imbalances before injury, supplement regimen)
-Managing Symptoms (examples include: high blood pressure, diabetes, IBS, decrease joint pain, increase mobility, correct muscle dysfunction, migraines, food sensitivities)
-Athletic Performance Goals (examples include: macronutrient and micronutrient needs, nutrition needs to support specific training, running a 5K, triathlon, build muscle, increase endurance, increase flexibility, increase cardio respiratory fitness)

When appropriate, we work with you to identify the root cause/core imbalances and recommend appropriate testing to make sure the plan we develop for you is as effective and healthy as possible.  The areas that may be relevant to your situation include:

  • Identify Core Imbalances:
-Nutritional:   Cellular Integrity, Digestion, Detoxification, Energy Metabolism, Inflammation/Oxidative Stress, and Neuro-Endocrine-Immune
-Fitness:   Overactive/Underactive Muscles, Upper Cross Syndrome, Lower Cross Syndrome, and Pronation Distortion Syndrome
  • Testing:
-Nutrition: Macro nutrient and Micro nutrient, Food Sensitivity, GI Panels, Neurotransmitter and Hormone Testing
-Fitness: Transitional Movement Imbalances, Dynamic Movement Imbalances, Cardio Respiratory Test, Muscle Dominance, and Manual Muscle Testing
  • Healthcare Team- Registered Dietitian, Chiropractor, Massage Therapist, and Personal Trainer/Corrective Exercise Specialist

Based on the initial consult and any testing that we (and you) determine is needed and relevant, we develop your nutrition and/or fitness plan. Your plan is designed to be your health blueprint and meet all of your health goals. It will be highly detailed, yet clear and concise with specific nutrition and/or fitness information and instructions.
