Digestion

Nobody is happy until your mothership
(a.k.a. “your gut”) is happy!

If your digestive system is compromised, then your entire body is compromised

The food you eat is designed to nourish your body and provide energy. Nutrients are required for growth and repair for ALL your vital organs. If you cannot digest, absorb, and assimilate vital nutrients then you are setting yourself up for cell damage, tissue damage, and organ damage. Unfortunately, if you have gastrointestinal symptoms or conditions, you have already started this process. So, what are you going to do about it?

Medications do not treat the root cause of your health issues.

There are numerous medications and drugs, over the counter and prescribed, to help people with their gastrointestinal issues. These quick fixes provide temporary relief, but they can mask symptoms, create side effects, and lead to additional medications.

Do not ever ignore your symptoms, no matter how mild they are.

It is important to note that many of your symptoms are what is called sub-clinical. This means that when you are experiencing mild symptoms or non-specific symptoms (tired vs fatigue), a diagnosis is not made by your doctor because the physical examination and the usual laboratory blood test showed nothing to report. However, this does not mean you do not have imbalances. It typically means the disease is in its most mild and early stages. This is the best time to begin a nutrition intervention.

Did you know that your body was designed to heal itself?

Your body struggles to heal itself if you have stressors or imbalances occurring in the body. By identifying the imbalances, I uncover the root cause of your health symptoms, and this gives your body the best chance to heal itself!

Whether you have mild or severe symptoms and/or a diagnosed gastrointestinal condition, do not wait any longer and set up an appointment with me.

Digestion Health Solutions

The type of lab work I order is used to identify imbalances in your body that are root causes of your symptoms.

Food Sensitivity Testing – This discovers which specific foods are creating an inflammatory response in your body.

GI MAP Testing – This will determine if your gut bacteria is unbalanced creating a leaky gut, toxin build up, and inflammatory responses.

Diet Prescription

This diet prescription is a general list of recommendations for this health concern.

Given the wide range of root causes of gastrointestinal symptoms and conditions, it is impossible and even harmful to prescribe even generalized recommendations. For example, adding high fiber foods could be great for some people but damaging to others. I can only provide diet prescriptions after I have assessed you and/or obtained recommended test results.

Supplement Prescription

This supplement prescription is a general list of recommendations for this health concern.

Given the wide range of root causes of gastrointestinal symptoms and conditions, it is impossible and even harmful to prescribe even generalized recommendations. For example, adding a probiotic for someone who has diarrhea might be helpful, but for those with a condition like SIBO, it could create more gas and bloating. I can only provide supplement prescriptions after I have assessed you and/or obtained recommended test results.
